FACIALS ADVANCED 1 CERTIFICATION

The Top Layer Facial Advanced 1 — 2 Week Certification Course builds upon foundational facial knowledge and introduces students to more advanced approaches to skin analysis, corrective treatment planning, professional facial techniques and customized client care. Throughout the two-week program, students strengthen their understanding of skin anatomy and function, skin types and conditions, client consultation, ingredient and product selection, contraindications, treatment sequencing, sanitation, safety and professional home-care recommendations. Students learn to recognize and develop treatment approaches for common concerns including dehydration, sensitivity, congestion, acne-prone skin, uneven pigmentation, texture changes and visible signs of aging. Emphasis is placed on understanding the skin as a whole and selecting appropriate techniques and products rather than following a one-treatment-fits-all approach. Practical training focuses on advanced cleansing and exfoliation, skin preparation, extractions when appropriate, customized masks, professional massage techniques, treatment layering and facial choreography. Students develop the ability to create a facial experience that combines corrective skin care with relaxation and client comfort. The course combines advanced theory, instructor demonstration, supervised hands-on practice, model services and case-study experience, helping students progress from performing a basic facial to confidently designing and delivering professional customized facial treatments within an advanced esthetics practice.
