CHEMICAL PEELS CERTIFICATION
The Top Layer Chemical Peels 2 Week Certification Course provides students with comprehensive theory and hands-on training in the safe and professional application of cosmetic chemical peel treatments. Students learn how carefully selected exfoliating acids can support skin renewal, improved texture, clarity, brightness and a more even-looking complexion. Throughout the two-week program, students develop skills in skin analysis, client consultation, Fitzpatrick skin typing, acid and ingredient knowledge, peel selection, skin preparation, application techniques, timing and endpoint recognition, contraindications, sanitation, safety, neutralization when required, and professional pre- and post-treatment care. Practical training focuses on developing precision, product control, treatment timing and appropriate peel selection for individual skin types and concerns. Students learn how to customize treatments for concerns such as acne and congestion, pigmentation, uneven texture, dullness and visible signs of aging, while maintaining skin integrity and minimizing the risk of adverse reactions. Students are also introduced to progressive treatment planning, treatment intervals, client home-care preparation, post-peel protection and recognizing when a client should not receive a peel or should be referred to an appropriate healthcare professional. The course combines theory, instructor demonstration, supervised hands-on practice, model services and case-study experience, providing students with the knowledge, practical skills and professional confidence needed to safely incorporate Chemical Peel treatments into an advanced esthetics practice.
